The Pearl tour allows visitors to get in touch with some of Iceland's most famous and exciting natural phenomena. Our first stop is at Þingvellir National Park, which is one of Iceland\'s most significant historical sites because Iceland\'s first parliament was founded at Þingvellir in 930 A.D. From Þingvellir we head along mountain tracks toward the world-famous geothermal area, Geysir, the one spouting hot spring on Earth after which all geysers are named. After lunch we continue on to Gullfoss (“the golden waterfall”), where your proximity to its edge is so close you can feel the mist of the glacial water on your face. From Gullfoss we kick the action into high gear to get even closer to Icelandic nature with one of the following activities:
 1. Snowmobiling tour in the Icelandic highlands
2. White water rafting on Hvítá glacial river
3. Quad bike tour through mountainous desert highlands
After a full day of action we drive through the countryside, pass through the greenhouse village, Hveragerði (where a large proportion of Icelandic vegetables are grown), and make a short photo stop at the extinct volcanic crater, Kerið, on our way back to Reykjavík.
Choice of roads and availability of activities are condition dependent. Snowmobiling and quad biking are usually available all year but river rafting is available from May to September, and the age limit for rafting is 12 years. Please bring a change of clothes for rafting tours. Two persons share each snowmobile/quad bike. For quad bike and snowmobiling tours drivers need to present a valid driver's license. Kindly inform us when booking which activity you prefer. Lunch and refreshments are not included.
