River Rafting Express
We travel through the farmlands of South Iceland toward Drumboddsstaðir farm where the rafting base camp is located. Everyone gets suited up with buoyancy coveralls and rubber boots and our guides go over general instructions and safety precautions before heading to the river. The rafting tour is a nice blend of rapids, fun and beautiful nature and is suitable for anyone over the age of 12.
We offer the optional alternative of river boarding for the more experienced rafter ? you simply put on a buoyancy suit, a helmet and rafting fins so you can steer your body in the water.
Please note:
The boats need a minimum of four persons to be operated; therefore, the tour has a minimum number of participants required. Please remember to bring a change of clothes and a towel. Jeans are not recommended for the rafting tour. Lunch and refreshments are not included.
