6 day tour with 3 days of golfing.
The Icelandic countryside has a lot to offer to a golfer that is eager to try something new. We have here put together a golf package with golfing in the west and the south of Iceland on some of the country's best golf courses. This is a 6 day tour with 3 days of golfing and one free day for activity of choice, or just relaxation in Reykjavik to inhale the freshness of this world's most northerly capital.
Day 1 - You arrive in Keflavik airport from your destination and pick up your rented car at the airport. Depending on your arrival time, we recommend a visit to the Blue Lagoon to ease off in the warm geothermal water in this natural Spa. From the Blue Lagoon you drive through Reykjavik and head on Highway 1 to Borgarnes. This route will take you through the deep tunnel under the Hvalfjordur fjord, one of the deepest car tunnel in Europe and a great experience. When out of the tunnel, head on towards Borgarnes ad when there, drive to the outskirts of the town, where you will find the golf hotel Hamar. Check in at the reception, dine in the restaurant and then, it's Midnight Golf on their own golf course. This fantastic experience will take you well into the night and afterwards, a good sleep.
Day 2 - After a good breakfast at the hotel, a second round of golf at their golf course. You then check out of the hotel and head to south Iceland, to Hotel Selfoss in the charming town of Selfoss, which is the largest town in the area, servicing the local farmers. Hotel Selfoss has an excellent spa which could be enjoyed until dinner and then Midnight Golf again in the towns golf course.
 Day 3 - An early breakfast and then a round of golf in the geothermal town of Hveragerdi, only 15 km from Selfoss. This is maybe one of the area's most charming golf courses, nicely nestled in the valleys of a great volcano, lurking in the background. The volcano's energy can be seen from steam still coming out of the mountainsides and cliffs and you do actually have to play over a geothermal area as well as the river Varma (The warm river) on this 2x9 hole golf course. We recommend lunch in the town and then head out towards the town of Hella, which lies a bit further than Selfoss. As you have plenty of time, we recommend that you take the Golden Circle route to see some of Iceland's most famous natural wonders such as Thingvellir National Park, where the continental plates are drifting from each other, the erupting hot springs at Geysir and the golden waterfall Gullfoss. You arrive in Hella just before dinner time and go to their renowned golf course just outside of town. The link course at Hella is renowned as one of Iceland's best golf courses. Evening golf at the golf course and return to your hotel in Selfoss just 30 minutes drive from Hella..
Day 4 - After breakfast, you check out of the hotel and drive to Reykjavik to your hotel in downtown Reykjavik. Ceck-in and then you drive to Reykjavik's best golf course, Grafarholtsvölur for your last round of golf on this tour.
Day 5 - This is a day to relax in Reykjavik and enjoy this beautiful city, which is the world's most northerly capital. In Reykjavik are good shops and the city is filled with gourmet restaurants and nice cafes. We can also arrange for you further activities such as a whale spotting tour on the bay, a riding tour on the famous Icelandic horse or a day tour in a SuperJeep to the highlands and glaciers for to experience the real Icelandic wilderness.
Day 6 - Depart to Keflavik where you return your car and check-in for your flight home.

- A rental car of type D - VW Golf Station Wagon or similar for 5 days including unlimited milage, insurances, CDW, GPS and airport surcharge.
- One night in shared dblb rooms with breakfast in Hotel Hamar in Borgarnes with 2 rounds of golf.
- Two nights in shared dblb rooms with breakfast in Hotel Selfoss iin Selfoss with 4 rounds of golf.
- Two nights in shared dblb rooms with breakfast in Reykjavik.
Flight tickets are not included if you want to book the flight yourselves. We can arrange for flight according to your travel plans.
